Salesforce Marketing Cloud Adoption 


Collagis supported a prominent Australian brand with the people and process transformation as the company transitioned to a new Marketing Automation technology platform - Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

BRIEF 

The Client was moving to Salesforce Marketing Cloud to help improve its automated, omni-channel personalisation capabilities. Collagis were asked to provide Professional Support services to assist in Transition Planning, Process Design and Program Adoption.

CHALLENGES

  • Outsourced email build and delivery, with low level of internal skills for email production, testing and delivery. 
  • Low level of internal experience with Marketing Automation toolsets.
  • External delivery team separated from end business user team, requiring governance and operating model to support effective communication flows.
  • Highly transitional environment with many concurrent change activities simultaneously in play.

SOLUTION

Collagis embedded a team of qualified professional support services including a Senior Marketing SME, Senior Transition Manager, Senior Change Manager and Senior Process Manager with deep expertise in these relevant disciplines to support the program. 

Working with the client team and the Project implementation team from Salesforce, the Collagis team worked collaboratively to help the transition of the client to Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

RESULTS

  • Future state processes were identified, including overarching end to end. 
  • Transition plan was developed and executed, including the establishment of program governance and business readiness forums, business user acceptance testing and backlog prioritisation processes.
