Marketing Process Transformation


Collagis supported a prominent Australian telecommunications company to radically transform the way they created and distributed Marketing content, driving cost savings in agency content creation costs and operating efficiencies through streamlined practices.

BRIEF 

In the current state, the client had multiple parts of the organisation working on content creation and curation prior to content distribution.

The current model had financial and process inefficiencies due to multiple agencies creating same/similar content prior to passing through approval processes leading to significant duplication and workload for internal staff and external agencies. 

From Collagis, the client was seeking professional services to map business requirements and successfully drive adoption of the new technology and ways of working.

CHALLENGES

  • Limited master copy development and pre-approval in order to fast-track the creation of content tailored to channel. 
  • High production costs from re-creation of same/similar feedback amends.
  • Limited use of templates and content automation capabilities.
  • Sometimes inconsistent representation of content due to distributed content creation.
  • Difficulty finding and sharing content across internal and external users resulting in duplication.

SOLUTION

Collagis embedded a team of qualified professional support services including a Senior Marketing SME, Senior Change Manager, and Senior Data Business Analyst with deep expertise in these relevant disciplines to support the program. 

Working with the client team and the project implementation team from Adobe, the Collagis Team worked collaboratively to define the future state and help transform the creation and distribution of content.

  • User stories and business requirements were mapped to effectively inform solution design for expanded use of the Adobe AEM platform.
  • Stakeholder workshops were run to understand key process pain points and efficiency improvements.
  • Future state processes were identified and mapped to address key pain points.
  • Change adoption program was designed and executed including stakeholder impact assessments, communication plan, training and engagement plan, super user and sponsor activation and change readiness assessments.
