Case Study
Defence Statutory Authority Strategy
Collagis supported the development of a strategy to take the Office of the Inspector General Australian Defence Force (OIGADF) through the next three to five years of its evolution. The IGADF is a statutory appointment outside the chain of command who independently monitors and assesses the health and effectiveness of the military justice system. |
BRIEF
The inspector General wanted to create a cohesive strategy that would galvanise the multiple Directorates within the IGADF and ensure appropriate resourcing, talent, attraction, retention, and management of core business into the future. The IGADF has grown by accretion over the last 16 years from a staff of 3 to now 46 full time and a similar number of part time.
It has also taken on additional responsibilities which has resulted in several previously independent functions (e.g.: grievance investigation and death investigation) now operating under IGADF banner.
